ABAM Event - World AIDS Day: Stand Against Stigma

December 1st Join us on December 1st, 2011 to honor the lives of people living with HIV and those we have lost to AIDS.

Every year, on December 1st, people across the globe celebrate World AIDS Day. Join The Harbor and other community organizations in a World AIDS Day event. This year’s event will feature inspirational, creative and celebratory performances from community members. World AIDS Day 2011: Stand Against Stigma is free and open to anyone in Lake County.

World AIDS Day: Stand Against Stigma will be held Thursday, December 1st at Waukegan High School, Trapp Auditorium, Brookside Campus, 2325 Brookside Avenue, Waukegan, Illinois 60085. The event will begin with dinner from 6pm-7pm, followed by the program from 7pm-8pm. The evening will end with a reception with light desserts from 8pm-9pm.

American Sign Language and a Spanish translation of the program will be provided.

Attendees are asked to RSVP to the event. The RSVP form can be found here. Everyone can attend the event regardless of RSVP.
