7 WAYS TO GET INVOLVED

There are a number of ways to help ABAM in our mission to provide care, compassion, and dignity of people struggling with homelessness and living with HIV/AIDS. Your support is crucial in fulfilling our vision of transforming the lives of people with HIV/AIDS within a compassionate, supportive community by providing a home, comprehensive services, and spiritual care. We invite you or your group to join our community.

More details...	1. Volunteer We have many regular and one-time volunteer opportunities for individuals and groups. In 2010, our volunteers gave a total of 6,090 hours with an estimated value of $101,500. You make a difference!
More details...	2. Donate Your support is crucial in fulfilling our vision of transforming the lives of people with HIV/AIDS. There are many ways you can give financially to support our work: through a one-time donation, a Tribute or Memorial gift or through Planned Giving. Your support enables us to continue to provide the best services to residents of our programs.
More details...	3. Host an Event Hosting an event, such as Taste for Life, is much more than fundraising. It is a unique opportunity for us to build relationships with both new and long-time donors to Alexian Brothers AIDS Ministry. Similarly, other events may include campus and church presentations or World AIDS Day services. We also welcome your ideas.

Who We Are

For over 20 years Alexian Brothers AIDS Ministry has been serving people impacted by HIV/AIDS in the Chicago metropolitan region, providing housing, comprehensive services, and spiritual care. Whether at The Harbor in Waukegan, IL, Bonaventure House on the North Side of Chicago or at our new facility on the South Side of Chicago, we transform the lives of people who are homeless and living with HIV/AIDS within a supportive, compassionate community.
