The Harbor is the only licensed recovery program for people with HIV/AIDS in Lake County
Our Lake County facility is a 3-story Georgian-style home that offers the only HIV/AIDS housing in Lake County and has been home to more than 70 people.

A carefully structured Tier System designed to assure that residents progress step-by step in preparation for a return to independent living.
Sobriety support groups led by qualified staff.
An Occupational Therapy Program that is focused on aiding residents in the acquisition of vocational skills.
Resident Trainee Program designed to offer a job experience in a supportive environment where they can enhance both their skill and experience levels.
Spiritual care - In keeping with the Alexian Brothers mission of providing care for the whole person, we offer residents opportunities for spiritual growth and guidance. The agency recognizes that while exploration of faith and spirituality is a person choice, it frequently plays a powerful role in recovery and reclaiming one's life.

Among the spiritual care services offered are: meditation and spirituality groups, weekly services representing a variety of faith traditions, including Roman Catholic, Protestant, Baptist, Jewish and others, one-on-one counseling and spiritual retreats.
HIV/AIDS Support Group led on-site by Lake County Health Department's Prevention Case Management counselors.
Conscious Development Group in which residents explore issues that have hindered their ability to make positive life choices in the past and present, and examine alternative methods of making decisions that will help them as they move toward independent and fulfilling lives.
An Aftercare Program offering residents who have left in good standing the opportunity to maintain contact with The Harbor's supportive community environment.
